THE Burden

The Worship Conferences' burden has grown out of a seeming decline in conservative Christian music. As contemporary music has grown and become common place, it has naturally caused a decline in the historical and traditional stand for conservative Christian music. Many ministries have adopted improper philosophies that accompany the contemporary movement and seem to have little grounding on why it is important to remain conservative and traditional (definition: music that is in it’s makeup drawn from the classical and traditional approach to church music rather than an adoption of the pop styles of music). The Conference's desire is to clearly lay out the biblical truth as to why traditional conservative Christian music must continue to be propagated for both personal and public worship and to provide practical tools for implementation for this generation and the generation to come and to provide a place where the truth can be put forward and the Holy Spirit can work to help people and leaders of people to make wise decisions in this vital area of ministry.

CHAMPION THE CAUSE

• ground people biblically, historically and musically in reasons to stay conservative
• promote a type of worship that is not worldly but filled with awe and reverence to our holy God 
• encourage worship that is intentional in purpose and inspiring in its passion

CONSERVE WORSHIP​​

• provide tools to help individuals and churches have the right kind of music options available for personal and public worship
• build confidence in ministry leaders and congregates that will allow them to minister to their people and allow the trickle down of conservative principles

COMMUNICATE THE TRUTH

• define and defend what is acceptable worship
• ​give a foundation in biblical philosophy that can be passed on to the next generation
• practicallly teach how discerning decisions can be made from the Bible
