The Worship Conferences' burden has grown out of a seeming decline in conservative Christian worship. As contemporary worship has become common place, it has naturally caused a decline in conservative Christian worship. Many ministries have adopted philosophies that accompany the contemporary movement and seem to have little grounding on why it is important to conserve traditional worship principles. The Worship Conference is designed to clearly lay out biblical truth as to why traditional conservative Christian worship must continue to be propagated for both personal and public worship. The conference also provides practical tools for implementation of a conservative philosophy of worship.

Mike Herbster currently serves as the camp director at Southland Christian Ministries in Ringgold, Louisiana. He has his MA in Pastoral Studies and also has a degree in music. For thirteen years Mike was in full-time evangelism, traveling with his brother Mark in a ministry of preaching and music. The WorshipConference2020 was born out of a burden that Mike has had for many years to see conservative, classical, christian music continue to be offered to the Lord in churches all around the world.
